You've been practising for one week, possibly six months. Or maybe six years. And sometimes... if you're honest... you wonder: am I doing this right?
Your inner question means you're paying attention. This is good.
Here's the thing you should know when you start Tai Chi: the beginners and the masters are asking the exact same question. The difference isn't how much they know. It's how comfortable they've become with not knowing.
Tai Chi isn't a skill you acquire. It's a conversation you keep having... with your body, your breath, and the present moment.

In Tai Chi, as in life... the path doesn't end. It just keeps revealing itself.
What Beginners and Experienced Practitioners Have in Common
Beginners think they're learning movements. Experienced practitioners know they're still learning movements... just with more curiosity and less frustration.
Every single session teaches you something:
The way your weight shifts differently on a tired day
How your breath tightens when your mind wanders
The moment a posture you've done a hundred times suddenly makes sense
That's not a sign you're behind. That's the practice working.
The One Thing That Changes Everything
Show up without an agenda.
Not to perfect the form. Not to get it right. Just to notice what's there today — in your body, your breath, your attention.
The people who grow fastest in Tai Chi aren't the most talented. They're the most curious.
A Small Challenge For Your Next Tai Chi Session
In your next session, pick one movement. Just one. And ask yourself: what am I not yet seeing here?
Then listen.
Listen and connect with the breath... the vibrating inner truth. When you connect, it will set you free. The inner of your truth, will set you free.
Whether you're in your first week or your tenth year, you're always welcome here.
We're all still learning. Life is always learning.
